Thomas Joseph Moore

Born: March 8th, 1991

WABASCA/DURHAM – Thomas Joseph Moore, 23, Wabasca, Alta., formerly of Durham, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 in Wabasca.
Born in Pictou, he was a son of Thomas Stanley Moore, Shubenacadie and Danna Virtue (Crosby) Moore, Westville. Prior to moving to Wabasca, he was employed with Dave’s Lumber, West River. He was currently employed in Alberta oil patch. Joseph was a very talented musician and a founding member of the band, Whyte We-zel, where he played lead guitar and vocals. He was the former bass player for the band, Itchy Trick and drummer for the band, Eradaze. Joseph enjoyed acting as his alter ego, “Amos Tucker”. His skits have received thousands of hits on YouTube. He enjoyed all forms of music and shared this passion with his best friend, Greg Stanley. Joseph loved his family, especially his little girl, Aurora. He will be dearly missed by his family and many, many friends.
Surviving besides his mother, Danna and father, Tom are his daughter, Aurora Lynn Moore, Westville; sister, Carla Moore, Westville; brothers, Jacob Moore (Jess), Shubenacadie; Zander Moore, Westville; maternal grandparents, Earl “Grep” and Shirley “Gram” (MacKenzie) Crosby, Sylvester; paternal grandmother, Linda (Parker) (Moore) Nickerson, Shelburne; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by paternal grandfather, Carl Albert Moore; uncle, Christopher Nicholas Kimball Moore.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday. Spring interment will be in Brookside Cemetery, Shubenacadie.
