Passed peacefully away at the Glenbrook Lodge, St. John's on February 3, 2015 Edith Marion Cummings (nee Mercer), formerly of South River, aged 81 years. Marion was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and mother-in-law who will be greatly missed. Predeceased by parents Mr. & Mrs. William Mercer, husband Andrew Cummings; son Glen; sisters: Phyllis (Frank) Janes; Elsie (Ches) Neil. Leaving to mourn: daughter Madonna (James) Pomroy; son David Cummings (Grace Howse); Grandson: Adam Mackey; Brother-in-law Tom Cummings. Family funeral service will take place from Moore's Funeral Home, Clarke's Beach on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the All Hallows Roman Catholic Cemetery, North River. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of the Glenbrook Lodge for the wonderful care provided to Marion during her residence there.
