Shirley Vera Murphy (nee Keough)

The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor on Monday, February 9, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, and her extended Wedgewood Manor family, of our beautiful Mom, Shirley Vera Murphy (nee Keough), formerly of Searletown, aged 79 years.
Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Clara Keough (nee Bernard).
Survived by her 10 children: Paul (Leona) of Searletown, Patsy (Dale Paynter) of Borden-Carleton, Kevin (Barb) of Searletown, David (Marilyn) of Searletown, Judy (John Grady) of Summerside, Marlene (Mike Brown) of Ayr, Ontario, Lorna (Gordie Walsh) of Borden-Carleton, Bob (Krista) of Searletown, Angie (Joe Gallant) of St. Philip, and Kenny (Kim) of Emerald. Grandmother of Scott, Andy, Bethany, Patrick, Craig, Chad, Colin, Mary-lynn, Jeffrey, Shelby-lynn, Meghan, Madison, Matthew, Sarah, Beth, Morgan, and Cameron. Great-grandmother of Xander and Rohan Grady. Survived by brothers and sisters: Everett, Ernie, Leo, Kenny, Billy, Bobby, Cindy, Ruthie, Diane, Theresa, Rita, and Doris.
Predeceased by her husband, Leo; infant triplets, Erma, Barbara and Albert; brother, Joe; sisters, Mae and Helen; and parents-in-law, George and Margaret Murphy.
Resting at Kinkora Place, Kinkora, on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Members of the CWL will say prayers at visitation on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church, Seven Mile Bay, on Friday, February 13 at 10:30 a.m.
Donations in Shirley's memory can be made to St. Peter's Parish Cemetery Fund or Wedgewood Manor Equipment Fund.
Interment later in the parish cemetery.
