It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Elizabeth MacDonald (nee Squires) on Friday, February 13, 2015, of St. Peters and formerly of Greenwich, P.E.I.
Wife of the late Reuben MacDonald. Dear mother of Beverly (Wilfred) Perry of Rollo Bay. Loving grandmother of Emily and Adam Perry, stepmother of Peter (Patricia) MacDonald and Mary MacDonald and step grandmother of Kate and Neil MacDonald. Survived by brothers and sisters: Gladdie, Vera Ward (Clifford Pickett), Phyllis (Wes Stretch), Kier (Linda), Jim (Alice), Leigh (Pat Casey); and several special nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Nelson and Myra Squires; brothers, Elmer, Sterling, Willard; and sisters, Pearl Hayden and Lynn Acorn.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris. No visitation by personal request. Family and friends are invited to the funeral service at St. Peters Bay Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
