Peacefully on February 11, 2015, with his family by his side Paul Frederick MacKay of Spirit River, Alberta, passed away. Paul was formerly from French River, PEI. He was born in Summerside, PEI, on February 26, 1957, son of the late Hollis and Bertha (Lamont) MacKay of French River. Paul is the loving father of Paige MacKay, Ashley Dunn, Garrett Bassani, and the late Morgan Paynter. He is survived by brothers and sisters, Dale (Carolyn) MacKay Glen (Barb) MacKay, Valerie (Les) Oakes, Kent MacKay, Jennifer (Ron) Murphy, Jacqueline (Glen) MacKay, Chris (Janie) MacKay and Clark MacKay. Paul was predeceased by brother Douglas MacKay. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In honour of Paul's wishes, no services will be held.
