Passed peacefully away at the St. John's Long Term Care Facility on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Annie Newell, aged 85 years, was predeceased by her husband Hubert; four sons Christopher, Cecil, Albert and Blaine; grandson Albert Jr. and her parents Fredrick and Janet Rose. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, her son Eugene (Cathy deceased); daughters Florence (Gus), Jeanete (Garry), Winnie (Rennie), Darlene (John) and Valerina (Terry) and daughter-in-law Genny. Annie also leaves behind 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson along with her sister Fannie (Herbert); brother Cecil (Joyce); special friends Eileen Baldwin and Christine Murray as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Thursday from 2-9pm and on Friday from 10am-9pm. Funeral Service will take place from Memorial United Church in Pouch Cove at 2pm on Saturday, February 21, 2015 with interment to follow at the Memorial United Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Annie's memory may be made to Memorial United Church in Pouch Cove.
