It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of an incredible
man, Rick Clarke MacLeod, of Halifax, NS (formerly of Charlottetown).
Son of the late Alex and Muriel, Rick was born and raised in Springhill, NS. He later moved to PEI where he worked as a lawyer with the Bureau of Pensions Advocates Veterans Affairs Canada until 2006. He leaves behind his loving wife, Janice (Rodd); his children, Amanda, Rob, Alexis, Woody and Tristan who all loved their Dad immensely. He leaves behind his sister, Lorna Stubbert (Don) of Cameron Beach and his baby sister, Cathy Anderson (Bud) of Springhill, who will both miss him dearly. As well as many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law, Georgie Rodd, of Charlottetown. Warmly remembered by Anne Murphy, mother of Amanda, Rob and Tristan. He will be incredibly missed by his best friend of many years, Cha Keliher and never to be forgotten by his fur-ever companions, Bailey, Benson and Kiffy. Visiting hours will be held at Belvedere Funeral Home Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 1pm, followed directly by a memorial service at 2:30 pm. Aftèr the service everyone is invited to the PourHouse at the Old Triangle for a celebration of his wonderful life and music.
