HÉBERT, PHILIP
Phillip J. Hébert, 73, of Haute Aboujagane died at his home on February 18, 2015. Born in Grande-Digue on May 30, 1941, he was the son of the late Maxime Hébert and Vitaline Cormier.
Prior to his retirement, he was a stationary engineer at the former Paturel Seafood. He was also a stock car driver. He enjoyed singing, playing his guitar, his pet dog “Ti Ben” and spending time at his camp.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Phyllis Caissie; two sons: Richard of Haute Aboujagane, Kenneth (Tanya) of Grand Barachois; three sisters: Alice Daigle of Saint John, Lucie Hébert of Montreal QC, Jeannette Hébert (Dale Todd) of Calgary AB: two brothers: André of Haut Aboujagane, Eric (Kathy) of Haute Aboujagane; three grandchildren: Justin, Stephane, Josée; one great grandchild: Madison and several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his first wife, Rita Gagnon (2001); one brother: Tilmon; two sisters: Bernadette and Léa.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday, February 19 from 7 to 9pm only. Funeral will be celebrated on Friday, February 20 at 9:30 at the St. Henri Roman Catholic Church in Grand Barachois. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Phillip, a donation to Dr. Georges-L Dumont UHC, Oncology unit, would be appreciated.
