Peacefully at the Garden Home, on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, of Dorothy "Dot" Edith Vessey of Charlottetown and formerly of York, in her 93rd year.
Daughter of the late Frank and Lillie (Dover) Watts, she was also predeceased by her husband, Richard "Dick" Vessey, and by her great-granddaughter, Maeva Paquin.
Survived by her four children: Nelson (Barb) Vessey of Riverview, N.B., Florence (Robert) Bryenton of Brackley, Dwight (Joan MacKinnon) Vessey of Charlottetown and Dorothy Vessey of Shawinigan, QC. Grandmother of Chris and Sherri Vessey, Geoffrey and Jennifer Bryenton, Jane Vessey, Jon, Thierry and Anthony Paquin. Great-grandmother of Garrett and Logan Vessey, Christopher MacRae, Nicolas, Zackary, Clara and Alys Paquin. Great-great-grandmother of Ethan Vessey. Also remembered by special family friend, Rea Lane. Sister of Grace (the late Dewar) Swan and Howard (Norma) Watts, and aunt to several nieces and nephews. Remembered fondly by cousins and close friends.
Resting at the MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at York United Church. Interment later in York Cemetery.
