Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Dr. L. A. Miller Centre, St. John's on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, Dorothy Patricia Case (Pat) of Mt. Pearl, aged 84 years. Predeceased by husband of 50 years, Jim, 2004; parents, Annie and Chesley Dowden; sister, Margaret Sorensen, sister-in-law Pat (nee Corcoran) Dowden, Leaving to mourn: Son, Jim (Beverly), Mt. Pearl. Daughters: Debra (Rex) Vaters, Carbonear and Cheryl (Clarence) Burgess, Carbonear; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Ches Dowden, St. John's; sisters: Ruth Kenny, Nova Scotia and Betty (George) Warren, Carbonear; Aunt, Gladys Dowden, Greenspond; sister-in-law, Jean Wells, St. John's; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. Keeping with the wishes of Pat there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place.
