Jantina (Tina) Mensink (Paalman) peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, P.E.I.
She is survived by daughter, Maryke (Mensink) Merati (Nader); daughter, Betty (Mensink) Wilcox (John); son, John Mensink (Catherine); brother, Cornelis (Cor) Paalman; granddaughter, Jessica Mensink; special niece, Carla (Paalman) Gervais; special great-niece, Mariah Gervais; special friends, Irene and Henk Ter Beest, Caroline MacQuarrie and Wanda Henry; and her special pets, Jasper and Alie. Tina was predeceased by her husband, Johannes (John); father, Roelof Paalman; mother, Jantina Klazina Paalman (nee Gunneman); brothers, Hendrik (Henk), Anton, Roelof and Joop; and sisters, Aafina (Aaf) and Johanna (Jo).
Cremation will take place in Prince Edward Island with a memorial service to follow at Woodland Cemetery in Kitchener, ON, at a later date.
