Keith Wilburn Carmichael passed away on February 19, 2015 after a brief illness in Squamish B.C.
Keith was born on June 21, 1930 in Islay, AB. The family moved to Burnaby in 1940. Keith married his wife Carol in 1957 and moved to Squamish in 1963 to work in the logging industry. In 1969 he started working at BC Rail and continued until his retirement in 1995. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and telling jokes. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and quick wit, and many will remember receiving a good-natured barb from Keith.
He is survived by his wife Carol; children Lenore, Jim (Claudette) and Diane (Glen); grandchildren Rebecca, Ronald, Brittany, Cody, Travis, Chase, Rachel and Erin; great-grandchildren Amethyst and James; sister Marilyn (Bob), brother Don (Joy) and many nieces and nephews.
