The gates of heaven opened and a caring, quiet, loving gentleman: Brian D. Fleming, of St. Vincent's, S.M.B., slipped gently away into the arms of his dear dad Doug (2006) while surrounded by many members of his loving family. Brian was a dedicated husband, dad, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, co-worker and friend. He leaves beautiful memories for his heartbroken family; devoted and wonderful wife Dianne, two special sons; Dale and Colin (Kerrie), darling daughter April (Christopher), furry friend Daisy, precious mom Mona; special sisters: Sylvia (Jerome - deceased), Mercedes (Brian), Linda (Tony) and Cynthia (Fabian); dedicated brothers: Gary (Rosarie), Gerald (Krista), Dougie (Heather), extra-special brother and his family Joe (Marcella), nephews Trevor, Scott, niece Stacey (Daryl, Abby and Lily), uncle Ben (Theresa) Tobin, aunt Jose Peddigrew, treasured mother-in-law Liz Hayward (Ferg - deceased) and The Hayward family (Alfred - deceased) and many other relatives and friends, especially his co-workers at the Bull Arm Fabrication Site. A special thank you is extended to the staff of Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic, Health Science CCU Unit, Palliative Care Unit, St. Mary's Pharmacy, Dr. Tom McGarry and staff of Trepassey Clinic. Resting at Fr. Battcock Memorial Chapel, St. Vincent's, on Tuesday, March 3, from 7 - 9pm (Family Only) and Wednesday, March 4, 10 - 12am; 2 - 4pm; 7 - 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday March 5, at 10:30am, at Sacred Heart Church, St. Vincent's. Burial to follow. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory maybe made to the family in care of Dianne Hayward. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's.
