STICKLES, MAVIS JEAN (SCHWARTZ)
The passing of Mavis Jean (Schwartz) Stickles of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Milford Stickles occurred on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the York Care Centre. Born on October 8, 1928 in Woodlands, NB, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Annie (Fowler) Schwartz.
She was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church.
Mavis is survived by her children, John Stickles (Hattie) of Fredericton, NB, Dorothy Stickles (Larry Saisho) of Calgary, AB and Cathy Madott (Chuck) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Adam (Robyn) Stickles, Nathan (Suellen) Stickles and Shawn Murphy; great grandchildren, Abigail, Campbell, Gavin and Glenn Stickles; sisters, Helen Bartlett of Fredericton, NB, Francis McFadzen (Bob) of Calgary, AB, Faye Thomas (Irvine) of Fredericton, NB and Eva Logan of Fredericton, NB; brothers, Walter Schwartz, John Schwartz (Phyllis) and Herb Schwartz all of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband; sister, Evelyn Schwartz; daughter, Evelyn Fox; son-in-law, John Fox and granddaughter, Natalie Fox.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 2 to 5 pm. A Graveside Service will take place at Woodlands Cemetery at a later date.
