Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on the 26th day of February, 2015, Mrs. Dorcas Mitchelmore in her 72nd year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 52 years, Winston; her children Winston, Marlene (Eric), Faye (Gerald), Julie (Harvey), Milton (Susan), and Josie (Dwight); grandchildren Jordan, Susie, Brandi, Robby, Jada, Danny, Chuck, Brady, Michelle, and Monique; great- grandchildren Chloe, Isaac, Peyton, Spencer, Bella, and Layla; sister Lydia (Eldred); brothers George W. (Marina) and Whyman as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Reginald and Johanna, sister Julie and sister-in-law Minnie. Visitation took place at the St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Lower Cove from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 1 with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Green Island Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
