Passed peacefully away on February 27, 2015 at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, Alfred Anderson in his 89th year. He was predeceased by parents Charles and Delena, and brothers Job and Gower. Alfred is survived by wife Pearl; children Jim (Ann), Audrey (Tabi), and Dwight (Judy); grandchildren Terri (Ian), Khatija, Yasmin, and Amy (Gerry); brothers Maxwell (Gladys), and Dorman (Rose); sisters-in-law Helen and Dorothy Anderson, as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews. Visitation was held at the Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home in St. Anthony, from where the funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 with Rev. Fr. Paul C. Findlay officiating. Burial followed the service in the St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
