LÉGER, ROMÉO
1946 - 2015
Roméo Léger, 68, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Saturday, March 7th, 2015, at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Saint-Anselme, he was the son of the late Iroi and the late Aurore (née: LeBlanc) Léger.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Léger was a carman for CN. He enjoyed woodworking and travelling. He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, council 6796, comité de la Résidence Saint-Anselme and Saint-Anselme parish.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (née: LeBlanc); one daughter, Nicole Léger of Dieppe; one son, Francois Léger (Cécile St-Coeur) of Dieppe; four sisters: Cecile (Gilbert) Godin of Salisbury, Angela Richard of Sterling, Mass, Jackie (Peter) Bauer of Moncton and Jeanne Cormier (Claude Boucher) of Dieppe; two brothers: Victor (Kristy) of Moncton and Léo-Paul (Dianne) of Dieppe; one brother-in-law, James Vail of Umbridge, Mass; four grandchildren: Xavier, Jacob, Alexis and Daniel, as well as several nieces, nephews.
He was predeceased by one sister, Diane.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm ONLY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Thursday, March 12th, 2015 at 11 am.
