With heavy hearts, we the announce the passing of our brother Russ on Feb. 24, 2015 In Brampton, Ont.
Born on June 14, 1941 in New Waterford, the son of Daniel and Alice (Roper) Head.
Russ lived most of his life in Ontario, where he worked as a mechanic, but he returned home every summer to visit his family until he became ill.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Dave) King and grandson Alexander; sisters, Stella (Lloyd) Lohnes, Comax, B.C., Judi (Ross) Preeper, South Bar, Marg (John) McLellan, Truro, Kay (Martin) McPhee, New Victoria, Susan (Greg) Patterson, Dartmouth; brothers, Greg (Virginia), Peterborough, Ont., Ken (Kathy), Sydney, Tim (Susie), New Waterford.
Besides his parents, he was preceded by brother, Harry and sister, Joan McIsaac.
Russ was an organ donor.
Cremation has taken place and a private family funeral will be held at a later date.
