MEAHAN, JOHN WILLIAM
With sadness the family announces the passing of John “Jack” Meahan, which occurred on Tuesday March 10, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by his family.

Born February 28, 1962, in Chatham, NB, Jack was the eldest son of the late Blair and Ella (Vickers) Meahan. Jack is survived by three brothers; Edward of Hamilton, ON; Joseph of Halifax, NS; and Phillip (Tracey) of Rothesay; six sisters, Mary Park (Glen) of Hamilton, ON, Margaret Senna (Carl), Noreen Ballard (William) both of Saint John; Patricia Rogerson (Scott) of Alberta; Katherine Walsh (Michael), Joan Steele (Kevin) both of Saint John; 23 nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins as well as his very special care givers Gerry Forest and Clifford LaVoie.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Sherry. Jack attended the NBASSE Vocational Training Centre in Renforth.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road Saint John (646-2424). No public visitation by request of the family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 135 Simpson Drive on Friday March 13, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Miramichi, NB in the spring.
