It is with regret that the family announce the passing of Bernard at Hilltop Manor on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the age of 77.
Predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan.
Loving father of Joleen Robichaud (Real) of Cambridge, Bernie Simpson (Karin) of Toronto, Marilyn Cann (Jimmy) of Cambridge and Colin Simpson of Kitchener. Cherished grandfather of six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his sisters, Alice Wolstenholme and Marie Simpson of Sydney Mines, N.S.
Bernard was predeceased by his brother Kenny Simpson.
Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. N., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home chapel on Friday evening at 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, 210 South St. (at Chalmers), Cambridge on Saturday, March 15, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
