It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rod Beharrell, at the Simcoe General Hospital Nursing Home, in Ontario, with his family by his side, on the morning of Wednesday, March 11, 2015.
Rod was Born in Truemanville, Nova Scotia on October 23, 1927.
He was the son of the late Carl and Sarah (Manship), Beharrell.
Predeceased by his wife, Shirley Trueman and his first wife Arita Keddy.
Left to morn are his step children, Nancy and John Kalapos, Barb and Dan Paterson as well as his grandchildren, Cam (Kim), Kyle, Sarah (Danny) and Christopher.
He also leaves four great-grandchildren, his sisters Shirley (Layton) Smith and Diane (Lyman) Bacon and he will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Rod is .a retiree of Premdoor and in 2008, he and Shirley moved from Warren, NS to reside in Townsend, ON
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. all in Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, NS. (902-667-9906)
Rev. Nigel Weaver will officiate.
Interment will take place at a later date in the Amherst Cemetery.
