BRIDGEO, KATHERINE
Katherine Jeanne Bridgeo, nee Doran, left us peacefully in early morning of March 11, 2015 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer, with family holding her hands.
Jeanne was predeceased by her mother, Catherine, her father, Morrissy, and her nephew Kevin.
Jeanne leaves behind her husband of 49 years, Tom, who loved her from the first moment he saw her, two adoring sons, Greg (Michelle), London, England, and Stephen (Jane), Woodstock, NB, who treasured her for her unconditional love, acceptance, guidance and encouragement. Her four grandchildren were the light of her life and Sam, Zachary, William and Daniel were very fortunate to have her so active in their lives. Jeanne also had a niece and nephew, Kelsey and Morrissey, who were very close and very special to her heart. They were her first 'grandchildren' and she loved them dearly. She also leaves behind three siblings; John Earl (Anne) from Newcastle, NB, Stephen (Jeannie) from Edmonton, AB, and Roxanne (Terry) from Newcastle, NB, many brother and sister-in-laws, several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, her god-daughter Kelly, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 7 PM to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from St. Gertrude’s Roman Catholic Church at 11 AM with Fr. John Keoughan. Interment will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group or to the Saint Regional Hospital Oncology Department.
