It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our uncle Edward 'Eddie' LaTulippe at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital, "Waterford Heights", on March 11, 2015 with his loving nephew, Matthew, by his side.
Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late Joseph and Susan (MacNeil) LaTulippe.
Eddie was a fun loving guy who loved to play the guitar, sing and tell funny jokes. He spent most of his life singing country and western songs, wearing his famous cowboy hat and boots. He moved away at a young age living in Montreal and then Amherstburg, Ont. for many years. When he retired he returned to New Waterford and he was the last surviving member of his family.
He is survived by two sons, Claude, Ont. and Edward Jr., Sydney, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Lorraine Cadden (George), Annie Aucoin (Albert), Mary Hawley (Matt) and his brother, Joey LaTulippe (Lena MacKinnon); his first wife, Caroline MacSween; second wife, Theresa Deneau and his stepson, Rick Deneau.
As per Eddie's wishes, cremation has taken place with a chapel service in the funeral home to be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Deacon Leo Penny officiating, followed by a luncheon at the K.O.C. , Plummer Avenue and all are welcome. Burial will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 902-862-7525.
