The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, of Ralph Joseph Arsenault of Summerside and formerly of Middleton, aged 84 years. Born on February 27, 1931, he was a son of Archibald and Mary Arsenault and a loving husband to Margaret Arsenault (nee DesRoches) for 66 years. Survived by children Ronnie (Cathy), Kinkora; Linda deceased (Joseph Gallant) of Summerside; Janet (Louis Arsenault), Summerside; Jean Matheson, Summerside; Debbie (Ricky Lowther), Borden-Carleton; Gary (Michelle), Shamrock; Ruth (Brian McCarville), Summerside; Fay (Garth O'Brien), Emerald; and Brian, St. Catherine's, Ontario. Lovingly remembered by 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Also survived by brothers John (Debbie), Summerside, and Gerald (Sheila), Middleton, by his sister Lillian Rogers, Summerside and sisters-in-law Margaret and Mary Arsenault. Predeceased by his brothers Robert and Norman "Buddy", sister Betty and brothers-in–law Jerry Rogers and Willard Arsenault. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside for visiting hours on Tuesday, March 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Paul's Church, Summerside, on Wednesday, March 18, at 10:30 a.m. Donations in Ralph's memory may be made to St. Paul's Cemetery Fund.
