It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Patrick Malloy, 66, of Westville, on March 17th 2015.
Born on August 6 1948 in New Glasgow he was the son of the late Thomas Arthur Malloy and Mary Susanna (Malcolm)(Malloy)Simpson.
Tom had a huge personality and positive spirit that was contagious to everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. Tom loved to sing and play guitar, to go for drives to pick up a coffee but, most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 39 years, Karen; son Anthony (Joanne); daughter Juanita (Nick Fleury); grandchildren., Cole, Anna, Tanner, and Zackery; sisters, Patricia (John) Morrison; Ann Marie Rhodes; Ina Baker; brothers, Mike (Darleen) Malloy; Dennis (Florence) Malloy; Reuben (Jane) Malloy; Robert (Bessie) Simpson; Meryl Jordan; sister-in-law Joan Malloy and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Howard Malloy; and step-father Robert Simpson.
Tom is resting at the Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 Friday March 20th. His funeral service will be held at 11am Saturday March 21st at the Holy Name Catholic Church, Westville with Father Tom MacNeil officiating. Burial to follow at a later date. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
