Robert “Bob” Paul Phillips
Robert “Bob” P. Phillips, 66, of Moncton, with his loving family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, March 19, 2015.

Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late James “Jim” and Beulah (Kelly) Phillips. Bob was the owner / operator of Bob’s Backhoe Service Ltd. and retired from Phillips Bros. Excavating Ltd. He enjoyed staying busy with his work, hunting, and spending time at the camp; but first and foremost, was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Bob will be sadly missed by his sons, Jimmy (Rhonda) and Jonny (Darlene) both of Moncton; daughter Kim Ayles (Brent) of Riverview; grandchildren, Christie, Ashley, Taylor, Zane, Kiel, Katie, Cole, Trisha, Blake, Allyson, Austin and Brooke; sister, Beatrice LeBlanc (Valmond) of Fredericton; brothers, Henry (Jane) of Moncton and David (Valerie) of Fredericton; many special friends, nephews, nieces and extended family members.

Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 11:00 am with Pastor Scott Ryder officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
