Gary Lee Boomer Feb 15, 1957-March 19, 2015
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gary Lee Boomer, of Truro, NS on March 19, 2015, in Brampton Ont. Gary is the son of Mary Elizabeth Boomer and the late Walter “Buddy” Boomer of Truro N.S.
Pre-deceased by siblings: Beverly Kaulback, William “Billy Boomer. Survived by siblings: Valerie Nabess (Rene), Glen Boomer, Steven Boomer, Wanda Nabess (Gary), Shawn Boomer, Cindy Nelson (Michael), Bruce Boomer (Liz). Beloved father to : Jennifer Plunkett (Jay) Gary-Ryan Boomer , Russell Boomer. Beloved Uncle to Susan, Jeffrey, Stacey, Janetta, Christopher, Terry , Melissa, Danny, Courtney, Brittany, Brandon, Shawn-D, Amanda, Brandi , Jordan, Shaylee, Samantha, Michelle, Robert, Kimberley, Christian, Harley. Gary had a love for the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all Gary loved being with family and friends. He had a deep and protective love for his family and all that knew him knew there wasn’t a thing he wouldn’t do for them. Gary enjoyed his occasional hitchhiking days, never knowing what the day would bring. He enjoyed the thrill and rush of the unknown. He loved to live life large but no matter where his travels took him, whether it be in Manitoba battling -40 degree weather, or the crazy amounts of snow in Nova Scotia, Gary always made his home in Brampton, Ont. where he made many memorable friends along the way. Gary’s most proud life accomplishments are his children. Gary’s first grandchild is expected on April 10, 2015.
He would have been so proud!

There will be no funeral service. Burial will take place at later date.
