Arnold William Powers passed away on March 26, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born August 9, 1936 in Maugerville, NB to the late George W. and Mary W. (Thomas) Powers.
Arnold was predeceased by his brothers George H. Powers of Bedford, NS and Lloyd M. Powers of Maugerville, NB.
He is survived by his niece Anna (Powers) Taylor of Bedford, NS and nephews Dale Powers of Economy, NS and William (Billy) Powers (Annette) of Maugerville, NB. In addition, Arnold is survived by his great-nieces Andrea (Taylor) Schultz of Naples, Fl, Lisa (Powers) Harris of Dieppe, NB and Deborah Powers of Maugerville, NB as well as his great-nephews Kevin Powers of Shediac, NB and Joseph (Joey) Powers of Maugerville, NB. He is also survived by his great-great-nieces Alexia Sophia Schultz of Naples, Fl ; Anna J., Gabrielle, and Cassia Powers of Moncton, NB; Anabelle Harris of Dieppe, NB as well as his great-great-nephews Luke Powers of Moncton, NB and Samuel Harris of Dieppe, NB.
Arnold’s career involved working with Canada Post, both in Ottawa and in the Fredericton area. He was a member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Fredericton, NB and donations in his memory can be made to St. Mary’s Anglican Church or to a charity of your choice.

A memorial service is planned for early June, 2015 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Fredericton, NB with a reception to follow in the parish hall and interment will take place in the cemetery in Maugerville, NB.
