The family of the late Arnold Pohl is saddened to announce his passing at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander. Arnold passed peacefully away in the presence of his daughter Renate and her mother Rhyna on Friday, March 20, 2015 in his 72nd year. He is predeceased by his parents Julius & Ida (nee Schmitke) Pohl; brother Waldemar Pohl; son Ian Gordon Pohl and brother-in-law Helmut. He leaves to mourn son Daniel (Karen); daughters Jennifer (Doug) Johnston, Renate, Tracey (Kerry) Branford, Erika (Vitali) Zdorovetskiy; brother Arthur (Meta) Pohl; sister Irma Pfeiffer; grandchildren Kara, Kendra, Keegan, Faith, Kaylee, Conor, Danny, Brayden, Michael; great grandchild Daniel Pohl; Rhyna Cutler mother of Jennifer, Renate and Ian; Beulah Keefe mother of Tracey, Daniel and Erika; sister-in-law Helene Pohl wife of deceased brother Waldemar. Visitation was held at Sincerely Yours Funeral Home in Centreville on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 6:00 pm and Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 2:00pm. Cremation took place on Monday, March 23, 2015. Inurnment will take place at St. Barnabas Anglican Cemetery at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jennifer Pender of Sincerely Yours Funeral Home.
