Passed peacefully away at her home in St. John's Easter Saturday, April 4, 2015 after a full and wonderful 81 years of life Marie Catherine Dillon (Pope). Predeceased by her husband Francis X. Dillon, her Mom and Dad Jack and Margret Pope of Boyd's Cove and her brother Frank Pope. Leaving to remember her fondly with very special memories are her 6 children Gary (Sharon), Tony (Katherine), Rick (Colleen), Donna, Denise, David (Lindsay): 9 treasured grandchildren Lisa, Laurie, Michael, Matt, Adam, Kyle, Grace, Anna and Claire: Sister and best friend Irene Lahey (Maurice), brother and special friends Mike and Betty Pope. Special Aunts Bride Dillon and Mary Mullins, sisters- in-law Sheila Dillon, Joan Dillon, brothers-in- law Fergus (Ruby) Dillon, and Thomas (Glendine) Dillon. Also a very special extended family that she held near and dear. She will be missed deeply and remembered forever. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 Lemarchant Road on Monday from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m.- 12 noon, 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. Funeral mass of Christian burial to take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. from St Teresa's Church, Mundy Pond with interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
