Clara Frances Smith, born Feb. 18, 1920 in Lennoxville, Que., a daughter of George and Ethel (Richardson) Lucy, passed away Apr. 2, 2015, in Arbourstone Enhanced Care. She moved to Campbellford, ON, as a small child and later lived in Kingston, ON, Calgary and Halifax. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, cooking and baking for her family. She was a talented seamstress and loved to sew for her daughters. She is survived by daughters, Carolyn (David) Wilson, Halifax, Helen Carty, Stittsville, ON, brother, Douglas Lucy, Peterborough, ON, and son-in-law Brian Brown, Greely ON. She was very proud of her grandchildren, Alan (Meghan Jamieson) Wilson, Christopher (Laurie Baird) Wilson, Sandra (Christopher) Zito, Donna (Derek Catellier) Carty, Sean Carty, Robert (Armita) Brown and Steven (Breanne Neufeld) Brown. She took great delight in her ten precious great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard W. Smith, daughter, Joanne Brown, brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Doreen Lucy, sister and brother-in-law, Marion and William Villemere and sister-in-law, Esther Lucy. Cremation has taken place. There will be a Memorial Service held in Ottawa, ON, at a later date. Interment will take place in Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa, ON.
