March 19, 1933 - April 6, 2015
Passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Harbour Lodge, Carbonear on April 6th, 2015, Cora Rowe, of Whiteway, aged 82 years. Predeceased by daughter, Eileen Metcalfe, parents; Frank and Sadie Pelley, parents in-law; Randell and Mary Rowe, brothers; George Pelley, and Fred Pelley, sisters Doris Pelley, and Ada Kean, and brother in-law Craig Dawe. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories to celebrate her life with thanksgiving are, her husband of 63 years, Reginald Rowe, sons; Boyd (Joan), Wade (Marion), and Ross, son in-law, Frazer Metcalfe, seven grandchildren; Vanessa (Keith) Squires, Steven (Stephanie) Rowe, Erin (Bradley) Russell, Ian Metcalfe (Baris), Derrick Rowe, Chantal Rowe (Jeremy King), and Curtis Rowe, nine great grandchildren; Brandon, William, Jessica, Cameron, Jackson, Katelynn, Jackson, Blake, and Ethen, two sisters; Betty (George) Bryant, and Eileen Dawe, sister in-law Joyce (Carl) Smith, brother in-law, Maxwell Kean, and sisters in-law, Louise Pelley, and Ethel Pelley, as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be held from St. Andrew's United Church, Whiteway, on Saturday, April 11th, at 2:00 pm. Inurnment to follow at a later date.
