June Florence Godbout, age 71, Port Hawkesbury, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, in the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston.
Born in Sydney, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Bertha (Anthony) Curnew.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph 'Carl', Port Hawkesbury; son, Joseph Gordon, Port Hawkesbury; sister, Sharon Curnew, Sydney; brother, Bill, Saskatchewan; niece, Const. Tapatha; nephews, Todd, Garnet Jr.; godchild, Leon Godbout.
She was predeceased by son, Leon; brother, Garnet; nephew, Gordon.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Burial at a later in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia.
