The death occurred peacefully, with family by her side, at Whisperwood Villa, on Saturday, April 11, 2015 of Doris Irene Wallis (nee Woodside), of Charlottetown, age 92 years.
Beloved wife of Thomas Wallis; dear mother of Diane (Ivan) Callison, Bryan (Patricia) Wallis, Ian (Louise) Wallis and Cheryl (Glenn) Gaudet. Lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Doris is also survived by sisters, Hazel Large and Phyllis Snowie. She was predeceased by her parents, Hedley and Mabel (nee Warren) Woodside; sister, Jean Hickox; and brother, Earl Woodside.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment at a later date in the Breadalbane People's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m.
Donations in memory of Doris may be made to the Salvation Army or a charity of choice.
