It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Heinz Heckmann, at age 65, on April 7, 2015, from a sudden cardiac arrest. Heinz will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Adele, daughter, Anna (Matthew), grandson, Alexander, brother, Gerd (Annette), nephew, Gregor, and many extended family and friends in Germany and Canada.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hardworking hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 18, 2015 at 2 p.m., at First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Drive. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
