MURRAY, RENE
At the Charlotte County Hospital on Sunday, April 19th, 2015; Mary Alexandrine "Rene" (Carrier) Murray, wife of Kenneth Murray of St. Stephen, NB. Born in Nashcreek, NB she is the daughter of the late John and Mary (Demspey) Carrier.
Rene worked for 25 years with the Connors Fish plant in Black's Harbour as a sardine packer.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother Rene will be lovingly missed by her husband Ken, two daughters Roxanne Justasen of Toronto, ON, Vanessa Feeney (Jeremiah) of Machias, Maine, son Christopher Gaudett (Paula) of Toronto, ON, three grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, two brothers Wayne (Jean) of Beaver Harbour, NB and Joey (Patsy) of Pennfield, NB, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rene was predeceased by her son Derek, and two sisters Theresa and Sarah Anne.
Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506-466-3110) from where the family will receive friends during a time of visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service in celebration of her life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, April 23rd at 11:30. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home Community Room and Reception Centre. The interment will take place at a later date in Milltown Catholic Cemetery.
