THIBEAU, JOSEPH
Joseph François Thibeau, 88, of Shediac passed away at the Villa Providence Shediac, on April 18, 2015. Born in St-Ignace, Kent County, on December 31, 1926, he was the son of the late Prospère Thébeau and Emilie Daigle.
After 24 years, he retired as Warrant officer with the Canadian Armed Forces.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter Stella Thibeau-Loiselle (Serge) of Drummondville, QC; two sons: John (Thongpoon) of Ottawa, ON, Gérald of Waterloo, ON; one sister: Dorice Fitzpatrick of Richibucto; two brothers: Yvon (Claudette) of Irishtown, Alyre (Myrtle) of Riverview; sister-in-law: Lina of Sorel-Tracy, QC; three gransons: Stefan, Daniel and David; six great-grandchildren: Bryson, Landon, Nathan, Amy, Élodie and Amelia.
Apart from his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers: Arthur and Livain; step-mother: Isabelle Vautour.
Visitations will be at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297) on Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 from 9:30 till time of the chapel service with the liturgy of the word at 10:30.
