GOODINE, HAZEL
At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 Hazel Goodine passed away at the age of 97. Born in Grand Falls, NB, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Bertha (Mulherin) Shannon and wife of the late Murchie W. Goodine. Hazel was a great cook, loved making baskets and above all family and friends were dear to her heart.
She is survived by two daughters Jo-Ann Rymarchuk (Frank) of New Maryland and Dawn Czernecki (Wally) of Guelph, ON; a son David W. Goodine (Debbie) of Plaster Rock, NB; grandchildren Kathy Wideman (Leon) of Kipling, MI, Debby MacDougall (Garth) of Hunter River, PEI, Doug Goodine (Judy) of Carbon, AB, Sharon Gallagher (Darwin) of Alberta, Lorrie Angermeier (Bob) of Beaver Lodge, AB, Jason Goodine (Jen) of Sault St. Marie, ON, Cheryl McKillop (Rufus) of Harvey, NB, Lori Ann Parent (Richard) of Sherbrooke, QC, Derek Rymarchuk (Shelly) of Niagra Falls, ON, Michael Czernecki (Visoda) of Ontario, Robert Czernecki (Trish) of Guelph, ON, Joey Mauro (Esther) of Plaster Rock, NB, Lisa Clark (Justin) of Plaster Rock, NB, Andrew Goodine (Leah) of Plaster Rock, NB, Katie Larksman (Shane) of Calgary, AB. Hazel’s great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren always held a special place in her heart. Hazel is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Apart from her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by a son Fred; a daughter Linda Mauro; granddaughter Jan Backland; great-grandson Justin Jennings; five brothers Otto, Herman, Gordon, Hubert and Clayton; a sister Vera.
Hazel is resting at the Pentecostal Church in Motion, Nasonworth, NB where visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 pm. A second visitation will take place in Perth-Andover at Calvary Tabernacle on Friday evening from 7 to 9 pm and Saturday April 25, 2015 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow the visitation at Calvary Tabernacle at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held in the Tilley Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Mission Work of Rev. Bennie DeMerchant through the Family Worship Center, Plaster Rock, NB, the Calvary Tabernacle in Perth-Andover or through the Pentecostal Church in Motion, Nasonworth, NB.
