CHAMPION, REX HENRY
It is with great sadness that the life journey of Rex Henry Champion, formerly of Bishop’s Falls, NF, came to an end on 24 April, 2015 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. He passed away peacefully at his home in Fredericton, NB surrounded by his family. After spending many years in Yellowknife, NT, Rex settled in Fredericton. He loved traveling with his wife and visiting family.
Left to mourn are Betty, his wife of 52 years; daughter, Rexanne (Paul); sons, Corey (Tonda) and Shannon (Sheila); grandchildren, Lesley (Geoff), Sheldon, Robyn, Brian, Sarah, Shaylynn and Logan; great-grandsons Jack and Mason.
There will be no visitation by request. Family and close friends will gather at a later date to celebrate Rex’s life.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Beland, Dr. Gowan and the nurses with Extra-Mural. His wishes were to give to those less fortunate by donating food/clothing to local shelters, or to school programs for children.
In lieu of flowers, please honour Rex in donating items to your local organizations.
He was a special man who was loved by all who knew him.
