CHASE, KENNETH RONALD
The passing of Kenneth Ronald Chase, of Fredericton, NB, husband of Margaret (Smith) Chase, occurred on April 29, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 20, 1930 in Marysville, NB, he was a son of the late G. Clyde and Margaret (Sloat) Chase.
Kenneth retired as a Partner in the printing business, Centenial Print. He was a member of the Marysville Baptist Church. Kenneth was very active in the community through Scouting, Kiwanis and Jaycees.
Besides his wife, Kenneth is survived by his sons, David (Cindy) of Douglas, NB and Mark (Heather) of Centerville, NB; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Alisha, Hannah, MacKenzie, Abbie, Kathryn, Sophie and Eric; one sister, Arvilla Stairs (Osborne) of Hillsborough, NB; two brothers, Sewell W. Chase of Marysville, NB and Earl Chase (Velda) of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Kenneth Edward; his brothers, Charles (Vaughn) and George (Chris) Chase and sister-in-law, Virginia.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Marysville Baptist Church on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11 am with Rev. Dr. Peter Sherwood officiating. Interment will take place at Marysville Baptist Extension Cemetery at a later date.
