GILLESPIE, MARK J.
It is with much sadness that the family of Mark J. Gillespie, resident of Riverside Albert, announce his sudden passing on April 28, 2015 due to a tragic motor vehicle accident.
Mark was the son of Diana (Lekas) Gillespie and George (Pat) Gillespie of Moncton. Born in Moncton, he attended Beaverbrook School in Parkton and graduated from Harrison Trimble High School in Moncton. He was a life member of the former Wesley Memorial United Church, a cub and Boy Scout and attended Sunday school. He had worked for many years for the Habitat Restore. He loved music of all kinds and was a loving family man.
Besides his loving parents Diana and Pat Gillespie, he will be very much missed by his loving spouse of 16 years, Debbie and her daughter Kristyna; his daughter, Stephanie (Mark); son, Christopher; and light of his life, grandson Noah; his sister, Tina (Gillespie) Lewis and brother-in-law, Barry Lewis; and also his cats that he loved very much. He will also be missed by his Aunt Mary Horsman, Patricia Lekas, his many cousins, including a special cousin and close friend Larry Horsman, also his former wife Tammy.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate the life of Mark will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11:00 am with The Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
In memory of Mark, donations to the Moncton SPCA or St. John’s United Church would be appreciated by the family.
