Sam Beisel from Tompkins, Sask. passed away on Wednesday Dec 3, 2014 at the Prairie Pioneer Lodge in Swift Current Sask. At the age of 89 years. Sam was born on March 20, 1925 to David and Amelia Beisel on the family home stead north of Rush Lake Sask. Sam is predeceased by his parents, David and Amelia; one sister in infancy and Rachel Lukey; Brothers, Clarence Beisel, Edward Beisel, Dave Beisel, Ruben Beisel and his soul mate of 53 years Betty Beisel. Sam is survived by two sisters, Lily Steingard and Edna MacRae and one brother, Hubert (Ann) Beisel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. his three children Doreen Beisel of swift Current, Alan and Becky Beisel of Lac La Biche, AB. And Robert Beisel of Redcliff AB, also three grandchildren, Khrystyna, Cristoffer and Kyle. Sam was a gentle, caring, giving and loving husband, father and friend and will be forever missed and never forgotten. Funeral services will be held at the grave site at Tomkins Cemetery in the spring of 2015.
