Passed peacefully away at the Sir Leonard A. Miller Centre, Irene Costello in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband James (1990), grandmother, Sarah Ann Lewis, mother and father-in-law: Catherine and Timothy Costello, brothers-in-law: Len and Fred Costello. Left with fond and loving memories are her sister-in-laws: Mary Costello, Carmel Costello, Alice Mahoney (Michael), Lorraine Terry (Gerard), brother-in-laws: Gerald Costello (Agnes), Kevin Costello (Vickie), Howard Costello (Alfrieda), special friends: Clayton and Irene Rees, and Pat Moore, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a circle of friends. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will take place at 9 am on Monday, May 11, 2015 with Mass of Christian Burial from Assumption Church, Avondale.
