Kennedy: Cassidy Sue Kennedy, age 15, of Cabri, SK passed away on May 3, 2015. The Funeral Service was held at 2:00 pm on Saturday May 9, 2015 from Cabri School with service leaders Clint Thierman and John Kennedy. Life Tributes were given by Chelsea Hassett and Morgan Montgomory. The Ushers were Kylie McLean, Nicki McLean, Justin Taylor, Taylor Lamb, Shay Lamb, and Darby Crozier. The Pallbearers were Ryan Evans, Ryan Schmiess, Mason Wagner, Dallyn Jamieson, Allison Girardeua, Kyra Braaten, Brittany Rousseau, Dillan Rossitter and Payton Grodaes. The Honor Guard were members of the Junior Sundogs Volleyball Team, the Cabri Cougars Volleyball Team and the Swift Current Hurricane's Hockey Team, all wearing their team colors in honor of Cassidy. The Interment Service took place at the Cabri Community Cemetery. Cassidy is survived by her loving parents, Doug "Greaseball" and Sue; her one brother, who adored her Connor (Sarah); Grand Dad and Granny Beth; uncle Allan (Tanis), auntie Patti, uncle John, auntie Cindy, uncle Grant, auntie Bev (Harold), uncle Clint, auntie Debbie, auntie Bev, uncle Austin, uncle Kurt, auntie Shelley; great uncle Mike, great auntie Lauretta, great uncle Gary, great auntie Carole and great auntie Neen; cousins Jaclyn (Daine), Callie, Shalyn, Jane, Jill, Nadine, Shawn (Angelee), Jordie (Susanne), Brodie, Chelsey (Jesse), Cody (Ashley); one special lady Grandma Willa; her two companions "Tazz and Freckles" and her two besties Kyra Braaten and Payton Grodaes. She was predeceased by her uncle Vince Thierman (1980), grandpa Blake Thierman (1981), grandma Carol Kennedy (1982), grandma Buddy Thierman (2004) and cousin Brianne Kennedy (2004). Cassidy was born in Swift Current on October 20, 1999. She was attending school in Cabri and enjoyed doing babysitting, helping the little kids at Can Skate and did the "Play Hut" in the summer. Cassidy was very active in sports, such as playing hockey, were she was nominated the best waver, gymnastics, volleyball at school, Club volleyball, track, badminton, horseback riding lessons, swimming lesson, wake boarding, water skiing, tubing, snowboarding and fishing, just to name a few. She was also active in school on the S.R.C., Yearbook and also the piano. Cassidy also enjoyed writing and had a few poems published in her younger years and was a good hunter and marksman, bringing down a moose in one shot. Cassidy will be sadly and truly missed but fondly remembered by all of her family, friends and all the lives she touch during her life.
