It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Christopher Bryce Erickson. Chris leaves behind many loved ones who will miss him profoundly; his Dad, Lorne; his Mom, Della (Scott); brothers, Richard (Teresa) and nieces Madison & Jordan; Shay (Alicia); his sister, Kari (Kris) and nephew Cash; his son Justice and his best friend of over 25 years Desiree.

Chris had been suffering from a debilitating & excruciating chronic pain condition over the last 5 years and ultimately the pain just became too much and on April 20th he was finally set free from the years of anguish. Although we will miss him beyond words, we search to find comfort in the fact that he is no longer suffering and at peace. Chris deeply loved his family and those close to him. There will always be a giant hole in our hearts. The world dimmed the day we lost his twinkling green eyes, winning smile, wild laughter and his larger than life presence that could fill a room.

We had a private intimate family service for Chris in Langley BC at Henderson’s Funeral Home and we will be bringing Chris home, as per his request, to be laid to rest alongside Grandma in the Tugaske Cemetery.

Chris had a soft spot and genuine love for all animals but in particular dogs. He was fortunate in the last couple years to have the companionship of Mr. Bowser, a Boston Terrier that brought Chris immense joy.
