ESTABROOKS, FREDERICK
Frederick F. Estabrooks, 79, of Notre Dame, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2015 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Midgic, he was a son of the late Ralph and Selena (Sears) Estabrooks.
Fred had many hobbies, including hunting, fishing, woodworking and spending time at the cottage with his family and his dog, Giz. Fred was self employed and worked for many years as a Burner Serviceman.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Annette (Phinney); children, Wayne, David (Cindy), and Nancy (D’Arcy) Foulkes; “Fur Grandbabies”; sisters, Mary Fillmore and Ida (Lorne) Wells; brothers, Lee (Ruth) and Clinton (Betty); and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Fred was predeceased by brother, Malcolm; sister-in-law, Joyce; and brother-in-law, Lincoln.
As per Fred’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Interment will take place at a later date in Sackville Rural Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB, E1E 3V9, 506-852-3530.
Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
