Passed away in the presence of his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, May 11, 2015, G. Embry Hudson of Adam's Cove, age 76 years. Predeceased by parents: Wilson and Belle; brother-in-law: Guy Crummey. Left to mourn his loving wife of 53 years, Dorothy; daughter: Debby (Jim) Meaney, St. John’s; son: Barry (Tammy), St. John’s; son by choice: Ronnie Dawson, Ontario; five grandchildren: Robyn, Zachary, Meredith, Isabella and Isaiah; brother: Wayne (Verna) Hudson, Mount Pearl; three sisters: Ruby (Steve) Homer, Ajax, Ontario, Yvonne Crummey, Gander and Pearl (Garry) Rose, Western Bay; also a large number of special nieces and nephews; as well as a large circle of other relatives and special friends. The family received relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Rev. Glenn Jarvis conducted the Funeral Service on Friday, May 15 at McDowell United Church, Western Bay.
