The death of Margaret Tulk occurred at the Oromocto Public hospital on Thursday, May 14, 2015. She was born on June 8, 1925, in St. John’s, NL to the late Peter and Christina (Hamilton) Power. Margaret was also the wife of the late John “Jack” Tulk
Margaret is survived by her sons, Rick (Tulla) Tulk of Kingston, ON, John (Valerie) Tulk of Oromocto, NB, Peter (Debbie) Tulk of Waasis, NB, Andrew (Sue) Tulk of Lincoln, NB, and Bill (Cindy) Tulk of New Maryland, NB; daughter, Christina Riley of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Andrew, Lisa, Kelli, Tanya, Jill, Adam, Patrick, Jenny, Shannon, and Nicole. Margaret will also be missed by her 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her extended family in Newfoundland.
In addition to her parents and late husband, Margaret is predeceased by her 3 sisters, Pauline, Dorothy, and Nancy.
There will be no visitation by request of the family. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 12:00 pm with Fr. Antonio Reyes as celebrant. The family invites everyone to a reception in the church hall while a private interment takes place following the mass. For those who wish, donations in Margaret’s memory can be to a charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been intrusted to the Oromocto Funeral Home. 357-5100
