RICHARD, OSWALD
Oswald Richard, of the Villa Providence Shediac formerly of Belle-Rive Road, Trois-Ruisseaux, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 12 2015 at the age of 98. He was son of the late Alyre Richard and Nathalie Brun and the adopted son of the late Dosithée and Anastasie Richard of Saint-André.
Known as p’tit Oswald, he was a plumber by trade. He enjoyed a very active life into his 90s. He was known as a hard worker, generous, a gardener and loved spending time outdoors.
He will be sadly missed by his children: Hubert (Ginette) of Gatineau, Huberte (Ubald) Léger and Julien (Géralda) of Trois-Ruisseaux; several half and adopted brothers and sisters; five grandchildren: Daniel, Samuel, Serge, Patrick and Sylvie; nine great grandchildren: Danie, André-Michel, Jolin, Karine, Myriam, Alex, Caleb, Michael, Samuel and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Fernande Jacob (2010); daughter Marie-Louise (2007); infants: Hubert, Rosella, Oswald Jr, and by grandchildren Michel and Odette.
By request, there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste Thérèse d’Avila Roman Catholic Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Saturday May 16th at 10:30.
In memory of Oswald, a contribution to Ste Thérèse d’Avila Cemetery would be appreciated.
