Joseph Leblanc

Joseph Antonin “Tony” LeBlanc, 74, of Grand Barachois passed away on May 14th 2014 at the UHC Dr. Georges-L. Dumont surrounded by his loving family. Born in Boudreau Office on May 10th 1941, he was the son of the late Didace and Helen LeBlanc.
Always putting his family first, he was very active with his 10 grandchildren. Following his career with the Canadian Armed Forces, he was a commissioner in Shediac until his illness.
He will be sadly missed by his wife: Bev LeBlanc, né Blanchard, his children: Karen Gorman, Katherine Bruens, Tony LeBlanc, Steven LeBlanc and Andrew LeBlanc; his brother and sisters: Louise Joseph LeBlanc, John LeBlanc, and Mary Ange Doiron and also by ten grandchildren: Adam, Emily, Neil, Erik, Lucas, Sarah, Carter, Ella, Ryan and Tyler who will remember his kindness forever.
He was predeceased by his sister Gilberte LeBlanc.
According to his wishes, there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Henri R. C. Church, 1356 route 133, Grand Barachois on Tuesday May 19th 2015 at 10:30, followed by a reception at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street Shediac.
In memory of Tony, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
Arrangements were in the care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
